The headhunter’s trail is a great way of entering or leaving Gunung Mulu National Park. This trek offers an excellent introdustion to the rivers and the rainforest of Mulu and the added attraction if the longhouse visit. The trail itself follows the route taken by kayan headhunting parties who paddled up the Melinau River to the Melinau Gorge. Then they dragged their longboats through the forest for 4 Km until they reached the Terikan river, where they launched headhunting raid against the people of the Limbang area.

Requirement for the trip

Torchlight, insect repellent, raincoat, swim wear, own drinking bottle and first aid kit.

• Children under 12 years old ( with bed ) will be charged 80% of the adult rate.
• Children under 12 years old ( without bed ) will be charged 50% of adult rate.
